The Cantal, a superb region to discover

from the Maisons de Montagnes...

When you stop off at the Auberge des Montagnes, the Maison d'hôtes "Chez Marie" or the Buron de Bâne, you'll be in the heart of the magnificent Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, between the Monts du Cantal and the Monts Aubrac.

From our Maisons de Montagnes, along the footpaths from the village of Pailherols or on the mountain of Bâne, you'll discover breathtaking wilderness, fauna and flora of rare beauty, majestic waterfalls, magnificent coniferous forests and also a trail of superb sculptures of the work "Montagne" created by the artist Camille Henrot as a tribute to the former buroniers...
