For those who don't believe in enduro or cross-country, electric mountain biking is still a sport! It's just a form of assistance - you still have to pedal to make it go," jokes Pierre Eric Vergne, the mountain bike instructor and mountain guide. You take away some of the physical effort that would prevent you from doing it, and you add a bit of fun: it makes the mountain much more accessible". This compromise is also beneficial for the elderly or those who have suffered an injury.
